How This System Works

The conditions check three factors: the team is an underdog, the opponent's standard deviation of shots against per game over their last 5 games is above 5.8061, and the assigned referee crew's historical home-team win percentage is 50.02% or lower. Together, these conditions identify spread bets on underdogs facing opponents whose recent shot suppression has been highly variable, officiated by referee crews that have historically overseen games where home teams win at near-even or below-even rates.

Backs underdogs facing opponents with high defensive inconsistency (shot-against variance above 5.81) when games are officiated by referees with balanced home records (50% or lower home win rate).
