This system triggers on NHL moneyline bets when the team has an Elo rating 39.64 points above the opponent, the team is overvalued according to Elo relative to the betting line, and the opponent's average goals against per game over their last 5 games has a mean of 0.1924 or lower. These conditions together identify games where a team rated higher by Elo is priced as a larger favorite than the Elo gap suggests it should be, facing an opponent that has allowed 0.1924 goals against per game or fewer on average in their recent five-game stretch.
