How This System Works

This system filters for NHL underdog teams with an Elo rating 24.125 points or lower than their opponent, where the opponent has averaged more than 0.1518 goals against per game over their last 5 games, and the betting team has averaged 1.1829 or fewer even-strength saves per game over their last 5 games. These conditions identify underdogs facing opponents who have allowed goals at a rate above 0.1518 per game recently, while the underdog team itself has recorded limited even-strength saves in recent games.

Backs moderate Elo underdogs facing opponents who have recently allowed above-average goals, while the underdog team has maintained below-average even-strength save volume over their last 5 games.
