Cold Teams vs High-Scoring Defenses
How This System Works
This moneyline betting system applies to NBA teams that have covered the spread in 2 or fewer of their last 5 games and whose opponent has averaged 114.1 points or fewer over their last 5 games while allowing more than 105.9 points per game over that span, with a fourth condition requiring the opponent to allow more than 125.7 points per game. These conditions identify games where a team with recent poor spread performance faces an opponent that has scored at a low rate in recent games but has allowed a high number of points on defense.
Targets teams with poor recent cover rates (2 or fewer covers in last 5 games) and weak recent scoring (under 114.1 points per game), facing opponents that allow significant scoring (over 105.9 and 125.7 points per game in recent stretches).
