This system triggers when a team has an Elo rating 346.45 points or more above its opponent, the opponent's standard deviation of defensive rebounds over their last 5 games is above 3.5761, and the opponent's mean blocks over their last 5 games is 0.5414 or fewer. These conditions together identify games where a team with a substantial Elo rating advantage faces an opponent that shows variable defensive rebounding performance and averages fewer than one block per game over their recent stretch.
