How This System Works

The conditions check four criteria: the team's average winning margin over their last 10 games exceeds 7.15 points, they have won 4 or fewer of their last 5 games, their opponent has an Elo rating of 1473.915 or lower, and the team's overall win percentage is above 53%. These conditions identify a team with a winning record and strong recent margins facing a lower-rated opponent, but coming off a stretch where they won 4 or fewer of their last 5 games.

Backs teams averaging double-digit margins against lower-rated opponents (Elo ≤1474) who have won 4 or fewer of their last 5 games. Requires the favorite to have a win rate above 53% and average margin of victory exceeding 7.15 points.
