How This System Works

This MLB moneyline betting system identifies teams with an Elo rating 40.44 points above their opponent, an Elo rating 183.11 points above baseline, an Elo undervaluation of at least 0.01, and an exponentially weighted moving average run margin of 3.8914 or fewer. These conditions together identify games where the team has moderate Elo advantages over both their opponent and baseline levels, is slightly undervalued by Elo metrics, and has maintained a run margin of approximately 4 runs or fewer in recent games with more weight on recent performance.

Targets teams with strong Elo ratings (both standard and composite measures above specific thresholds) that are slightly undervalued by the market, focusing on games expected to be decided by fewer than 4 runs.
