How This System Works

This system selects home teams with an Elo Home Index above 0.82, a referee crew with a historical home team win percentage above both 48.61% and 59.32%, and a standard deviation of runs produced by batters over the last 10 games above 3.893. These conditions identify home games where the home team has a moderate Elo rating, the assigned umpire crew has a history of home teams winning at least 59.32% of their games, and the home team's run production has been variable rather than consistent over their last 10 games.

Backs strong home teams (Elo > 0.82) with consistent offensive production (stdev > 3.89 runs) in games where the home plate umpire has moderate home team favorability (40-59% home win rate).
