How This System Works

This system applies to MLB moneyline bets when a team has averaged more than 10.5 strikeouts per batter over their last 5 games, has averaged more than 40.1 successful fielding chances over their last 5 games, has an Elo rating at or below 79.355, and has an Elo rating advantage between negative 39.965 and positive 39.965 points relative to their opponent. These conditions together identify games involving a team with an Elo rating at or below 79.355 that is recording high strikeout rates and high fielding activity in recent games while facing an opponent of relatively similar strength based on Elo ratings.

Targets underdogs with low Elo ratings that have struck out batters at a high rate and maintained strong fielding success over their last 5 games.
