How This System Works

This system triggers for underdog teams whose batters have averaged a ground ball to fly ball ratio above 0.575 over their last 10 games and whose batters show a standard deviation in projected home runs above 190.1536 over their last 10 games. These conditions identify games where the underdog's recent batted ball profile favors ground balls over fly balls and where their home run projections have been highly variable across their last 10 games.

Backs underdogs whose lineups have a high ground ball to fly ball ratio (>0.575) and show high variance in projected home run production across the batting order (standard deviation >190.15).
