How This System Works

This system applies to MLB spread bets when the team averaged more than 16.15 flyballs per game over their last 10 games, their fielders averaged 35.45 or fewer total chances per game over their last 10 games, and their pitchers averaged more than 1.1 inherited runners per game over their last 5 games. These conditions together identify games involving teams that hit many flyballs, face limited defensive action in the field, and recently used relief pitchers who entered with runners already on base.

Targets teams with high flyball rates facing defenses with limited fielding activity, combined with opposing bullpen situations involving frequent inherited runners.
